Company founder, Steve Reszka, leads our team of nationally recognized professionals. Steve’s expertise in media and marketing is widely known among those in the business, and praised highly by his clients. Reszka & Associates is credited with the marketing success of the internationally-known craft show Christmas in the Country. Reszka & Associates has worked to “grow” the exhibition from a neighborhood event to a regional tourist attraction, drawing nearly 55,000 people over its four day run. In 2000, Christmas in the Country was ranked #1 by the industry’s leading trade journal. In fact, since 1998, the artisan exhibition is the only show in America ranked among the “Top Five Shows in America” each year. They company also oversees the publicity and marketing efforts for a number of high profile events including the second-largest Italian Festival in the nation the Sorrento Cheese Italian Heritage Festival, New York State’s oldest continuously working pumpkin farm Pumpkinville and the third-largest producers of Maple Syrup in the world the New York State Maple Producers Association. Part of the unique strategies Reszka & Associates provides for its clients includes the use of national entertainment and celebrity appearances. This led the company to book entertainment, acts and appearances for corporations and events across the United States. As a media consultant, Steve’s experience includes a wide variety of accomplishments, from overseeing issue-advocacy campaigns for national, regional and local organizations to playing major roles in passing legislation and saving American jobs from moving to foreign soil. Steve also created and served as executive producer of the international award-winning syndicated radio show Prospering in America. The program aired from May 1993 to November 1997 throughout the northeast, including New York City and Boston. Its targeted message served the client well with a unique and broad-based method to disseminate information. Steve began his award-winning career as a radio reporter and anchor, working for stations in Buffalo and Syracuse. His move to television news shortly thereafter presented him with opportunities to work as a freelance television reporter for ABC News and NBC Sports and as a field producer for the syndicated show EXTRA. Steve earned his B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. |
